You Will Be Successful
The Senior Purchasing Manager plays a critical role in driving cost savings, operational efficiency, and profitability by developing and executing strategic procurement initiatives. This role is responsible for negotiating vendor agreements, optimizing food and equipment costs, identifying new sourcing opportunities, and ensuring the seamless supply of high-quality products to all restaurant locations. The ideal candidate is a proactive thinker who brings data-driven insights and cost-saving opportunities to company leadership.

Job Responsibilities
- Create sourcing processes and develop category strategies
- Drive key insights for capacity analyses for short and long-term business continuity planning
- Protect the supply chain and company margins by ensuring best-in-class contract execution
- Collaborate with the culinary team to source new products and supplier capability evaluation.
- Lead and develop the purchasing team including establishing processes, and scorecards
- Develop strategic supplier relationships to negotiate pricing and ensure commitments are met
- Analyze spending and develop sourcing and continuous improvement plans
- Monitor performance, and propose plans for managing risk and embracing opportunities
- Understand market conditions to project needs and opportunities in demand or supply chain and proactively propose short – and long-term actions
- Implement a framework for bringing together cross functional teams together to ensure accurate theoretical costing
- Be available and ready to step in and provide direction and support during supply chain crises
- Key business partners: COO, VP of Operations, Sr Dir of IT
Job Requirements
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools including Excel
- Ability to adapt to changing trends and algorithms
- Customer service orientation
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply management, or a similar discipline
